Sunday Highlight: August 9, 2026
Let’s pray for Hun and Eunjoo Sol, International Mission Board missionaries serving college students and young adults in Seoul, South Korea.
With 48 universities in the city, the Sols are passionate about reaching the next generation. Their ministry center, provided through the generosity of Southern Baptists, hosts church plants, English conversation groups, and trauma-healing programs.
Their vision is bold: plant a church on each of Seoul’s 48 campuses by 2028. One key outreach is their trauma-healing ministry, THinK, which offers a listening ear and non-medical counseling while pointing people to the hope of the Gospel.
In South Korea, suicide is one of the leading causes of death among teens and young adults. Fewer young people are involved in church, and the Sols are asking God for a big vision to meet this need. They see their ministry as an opportunity to train missionaries, start churches, and connect students to Christian community.
Hun and Eunjoo ask for prayer to grow their team and reach more students with the Gospel. They also ask for prayer that their vision would be fulfilled and that lives across Korea would be transformed.
