Sunday Highlight: November 29, 2026
When God called Leo and Miosha Robinson to start a church in Flint, Michigan, they walked their neighborhood asking, “What do you need?” The answer was unexpected, a laundromat.
“Single moms told us they had to take a bus across town to do laundry,” Leo said. “It could take all day and cost over $100. Families had to choose between clean clothes or keeping the water on.”
After launching Good Church, the Robinsons opened a low-cost laundromat in the church’s lower level. Good Laundry now meets a critical need and opens doors to share the Gospel. Baptisms and life change are happening by meeting a physical need.
Through our support of the Cooperative Program, we help missionaries and church plants like the Robinsons and Good Church show the love of Jesus to hurting communities. Pray this week for the people of Flint who have experienced pain and trauma. Ask God to use Good Church to meet them with the hope of the Gospel.
