Sunday Highlight: May 11, 2025
For our missions prayer time today, we’re going to pray for two ministries that our church supports through our Cooperative Program giving.
Let’s start with two of our international missionaries we’ll call Tim and Pamela Carrollton. They were living in New Orleans. Tim was a pastor on the staff of First Baptist Church as he attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
When Tim and Pamela sensed God calling them to overseas missions service, New Orleans Seminary’s Global Missions Center was the perfect place to prepare for missions.
This center, which opened in 2022, taught them about the cultures, languages and other factors they needed to know for serving in Eastern Europe.
Now on the field, they are helping churches learn how to reach lost people in a capital city and beyond.
Tim and Pamela have been in Eastern Europe just a short time; our church supports them there through our Cooperative Program giving, the same way we support New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. That’s one of six Bible-believing seminaries we’re supporting.
Let’s pray now for Tim and Pamela. And let’s pray for the seminary that equipped them to serve.
