Texas Disaster Relief

Aloha volunteers,

 Southern Baptist of Texas Convention disaster relief and Texas Baptist Men disaster relief need help urgently. The flooding you most likely have seen on news in Texas is really bad. Texas DR is reporting thousands of homes are flooded including some of our churches.

You can form a team from your church to go or if just a few can go, there will be equipment and supplies there on site. You can join other teams as well. Food, lodging and shower/laundry will be provided. You will need to provide your airfare and ground transportation. However, we can check with the teams on-site to pick up and return to the airport as well. We need flood recovery, assessment, Incident Command, and Chaplains to go. Contact me if you have questions or would like to go and I will get you set up with Texas Disaster relief.

The Bahamas is still in emergency response stage and BGR and SBDR will work together to send teams soon for a long term response just like in Puerto Rico. If you would like to make a donation you can give directly online at gobgr.org. The Bahamas will require a passport to enter.
