Every year the WMU Missions Celebration is a time to gather and celebrate the goodness of God and to see how He is working in and through believers as we share the love of Jesus in our homes, community, and around the world.

Join us for this year’s WMU Missions Celebration! Worship with us as we hear from guest speakers and testimonies from those who are living with intentionality and missionally-minded. In addition, we have a special panel of young people who will share how they are sharing Jesus with their friends and classmates.

The program is from 9-12:30 pm with lunch immediately following. There is no charge to attend this year’s event. It is provided through your gifts through the Sue Nishikawa Offering for Hawaii Pacific Missions. Please register by Monday, April 21.

The missions celebration is for everyone – men, women, boys, and girls. We look forward to seeing you on April 26!

Denise DeLeon Clymer

New Mexico WMU President

Denise and her husband Daniel Clymer have been married and serving together in ministry for 21 years. One of their greatest joys is seeing their adult son serving in ministry as well. Daniel serves as a pastor to a Native American congregation. Together they work with up to 50 kids and 15 teens a week. They also served as NAMB missionaries for 11 years; now they serve as State missionaries working with 30 Native American congregations state wide. Denise has been a part of WMU since her teen years when she accepted Jesus as her Savior and currently serves as New Mexico’s WMU president.

Russ & Tammy East

Russ and Tammy East have been serving the Lord in reaching Mormons since 2000 with their ministry Utah Partnerships for Christ. Russ was saved out of a fourth generation Mormon home when he was 14, and knew God’s call on his life was to minister in love to those deceived in Mormonism. Now 25 years later, God’s faithfulness has sustained Tammy and Russ and their family as they continue to plant seeds of the Gospel in the spiritual desert of Utah through mission trips, Christian radio and a Bible museum. Russ and Tammy have been married for 33 years and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
