Sunday Highlight: July 27, 2025

You know those QR codes you see all over — click your phone on them, and they take you to a website or a restaurant menu?

Well, our missionaries, Brant and Kara Bauman, create QR codes that take people to Jesus. Well, pretty much, anyway.

Brant and Kara live in the United Kingdom, but their online digital outreach reaches around the world. They place QR codes in social media ads that a user can scan and become able to talk about Jesus with someone in their own language.

For the Olympics in Paris last year, our International Mission Board used special pins that everyone wanted to collect. But the IMB ones could click on a website for information on Jesus. And users could click and be taken to the Bible in 16 languages.

You might say Brant and Kara help our missionaries cast a digital net as they share Christ in countless places.

Our church supports Brant and Kara through our Cooperative Program giving. That’s how we support more than 3,500 Southern Baptist missionaries we support overseas.

Let’s pray for Brant and Kara now.
