After a break, we are ready to gather online again for the first of our pastor forums of 2023 with Dr. Mark Dance. The Pastors Forum is for Hawaii Pacific Baptist lead pastors. Mark has a new book from B&H Publishing to be released in June 2023 called Start to Finish: The Pastor’s Guide to Leading a Resilient Life and Ministry.
We’ve asked him to share some of his insights, including some of the obstacles he sees to us being able to finish well as pastors.

Mark Dance is the Director of Pastoral Wellness for Guidestone Financial Resources. He was a lead pastor and planter for 27 years before becoming an associate vice president at Lifeway, the director of pastoral development for Oklahoma Baptists, and the co-founder/leader of the Care4Pastors Network.
Dr. Dance earned degrees from Howard Payne University (BBA), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min).
