Sunday Highlight: March 1, 2026
Tim and Rose Eborda are leading the replanting efforts of Ashburn Baptist Church Frankfort, located in Frankfort, Illinois, just 28 miles south of Chicago. Their mission is to connect with everyone God places in their path, with a special focus on reaching the Filipino community.
As a young Filipino pastor, Tim sometimes finds it challenging to connect with older individuals and those from different racial backgrounds. But he’s seen how the Gospel bridges gaps in age and ethnicity. The most rewarding part of their ministry is witnessing lives transformed by God’s Word.
“A woman was deeply depressed due to her troubled relationship with her husband,” Tim shared. “When my wife and I reached out and shared the Gospel with her, she accepted Christ, and her life was transformed.”
Giving through the Cooperative Program provides a way for churches help support missionaries like the Ebordas as they plant churches and share the hope of Christ.
Pray that Ashburn Baptist Church Frankfort will grow spiritually and numerically. Ask God to give Tim and Rose courage and wisdom as they share the Gospel in their community.
