Dr. Stephen Smith is pastor of Immanuel Baptist in Little Rock, Arkansas, and recently served as Professor of Preaching at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He’s the author of Recapturing the Voice of God: Shaping Sermons Like Scripture (B&H Academic, 2015) and the co-author of Preaching for the Rest of Us: Essentials for Text-driven Preaching. (B&H Academic, 2018)

He helped us dive further into the topic of “Text-Driven” preaching.
