Dear Church Leaders,

Aloha! After much discussion and prayer the Leadership Council of the Oahu Baptist Network (OBN) voted on July 18 to proceed with a proposal that recommends the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention (HPBC) absorb OBN. 

Nothing of this magnitude is official until it is voted on by church messengers at an Annual OBN Meeting or a special-called meeting.

Again, this is just a proposal, not a done deal. With this in mind, we bring this proposed merger to you for consideration.

Listening Sessions:
  • Tues, September 19 – FBC Pearl City, 6-8pm
  • Wed, September 20 – Pali View Baptist Church, 10am-12noon
  • Wed, September 20 – University Avenue Baptist Church, 2-4pm

If you cannot make any of these meetings, please feel free to host another listening session or contact either Chris or me with your questions. Thank you for prayerfully considering this proposal.
