Every year the WMU Missions Celebration is a time to gather and celebrate the goodness of God and to see how He is working in and through believers as we share the love of Jesus in our homes, Community, and around the world.
WMU Missions Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 9am-2pm at the Ala Moana Hotel in the Garden Lanai Ballroom. Come worship and hear from Cathie Smith and testimonies from missionaries and ministry leaders who are living with intentionality and are missionally-minded. Worship led by youth and young adults from Waipahu Community Christian Church.

California Southern Baptist Convention Church Matters Team in Women's Ministry
Cathie Smith serves on the California Southern Baptist Convention Church Matters Team in Women’s Ministry. She is a ministry wife and mother of three. Cathie and her husband are former IMB missionaries, and she is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her international missions service also includes Ecuador, Japan, and Guatemala. Cathie's passion is teaching God’s word, serving the marginalized, and reaching the unreached. "God's heart and love for all tribes tongues and nations is found in Christ, who is the hope for all nations. Even after over 2000 since Christ came to the world in human form, our mandate to make disciples of all nations has not changed. Christ alone is our hope."
