Sunday Highlight: October 11, 2026
Olivia Tucker needs our prayers as she shares the Gospel in Central Asia. She first visited Central Asia on a weeklong vision trip while discerning God’s call. Her heart broke for the people living in spiritual darkness — especially a young woman known as Little S, who was experiencing recurring dreams about Jesus.
“I wanted to be here,” Olivia said, “because I met this young woman living out in a village with a heart to know more about Jesus.”
Later, Olivia returned through the International Mission Board’s Journeyman program and joined a team working on a farm near Little S’s village. Her professional experience created natural opportunities to connect with locals and share the Gospel.
Little S’s hunger for truth grew. She began pressing Olivia to study the Bible with her. Though she had rejected her tribal religion, she wasn’t sure Jesus was God. She explored Islam but secretly read the Bible with a friend. As they prayed, they came to believe Jesus is the Son of God.
Olivia cried when she heard the news. This is why she was called to Central Asia. Pray for Olivia as she continues sharing the Gospel and walking alongside new believers.
