Sunday Highlight: October 3
Let’s pray now for Price and Arrica Wright. They are two of our North American missionaries planting a new church in Kansas City, Missouri. Our church supports them through our Cooperative Program giving. Price and Arrica planted the new church in Raytown, which is on the south side of Kansas City. They are just a few blocks from I-435.
Their church’s name is New City Church Loma Vista, because it is part of New City Church which has groups in several other places in Missouri and Kansas. Kansas City has become increasingly multi-cultural in recent years. A recent festival drew area residents who have moved here from more than 60 other nations. Price and Arrica want to reach all of them for Christ— wherever they are from.
The new church has done well. They started with a launch team of 35 people — but that number tripled within a few months. Price says they’re eager to see what God is doing to do with them. He says they disciple new believers who will disciple more new believers. Let’s ask God to bless this new church and watch over Price and Arrica.
Thank you for learning more about the ways your church’s gifts through the Cooperative Program are the financial fuel for reaching every person for Jesus Christ in every town, every city, every state, and every nation. Connect the offering plate to the mission field with “52 Sundays” resources.
