Sunday Highlight: October 19, 2025
Let’s pray now for two of our missionaries serving in North Africa and the Middle East.
We’ll call them Matt and Audrey, but those are not their real names. We won’t say just where they’re serving. We know it’s a dangerous place where most people are Muslim. In fact, it’s so dangerous they had to move after ministering here for 20 years.
They poured their lives into working with Middle Eastern people, especially those displaced by war and other troubles.
Now, Matt and Audrey are effective cheerleaders for the region. They are Asian Americans, and they are working hard to enlist believers from East Asian countries — to come partner with our other International Mission Board missionaries serving here.
They tell those believers that people here need to know Jesus. Churches can be planted. People will come to Christ.
Matt and Audrey remind their East Asian friends that God wants all the nations to know Him through His Son, Jesus.
Our church supports Matt and Audrey through our Cooperative Program giving.
Let’s pray that more missionaries will respond to God’s call to northern Africa and the Middle East and that millions there will turn to Christ.
