At our HPBC Church Health Conference, Practical Shepherding‘s Brian Croft and The Calvary Network of Churches‘ Mark Hallock, will both address this reality, how it relates to your church situation, and help you develop a strategy to get healthy as a church.

6:00 pm – Dinner in fellowship hall (below main worship center)
7:00 pm – Session begins with worship, followed by teaching from both guest speakers
9:00 pm – Evening session over
Saturday, July 19, 2025:
8:30 am – Refreshments in the Fellowship Hall
9:00 am – Worship and teaching from Mark Hallock
10:00 am – Breakout groups led by Mark and Brian
11:00 am – Gather back in the worship center for final teaching session with Brian Croft
12:00 pm – Lunch provided in the Fellowship Hall
1:00 pm – Question and Answer Panel with Mark and Brian
2:00 pm – Group Debrief
3:00 pm – Sent out to Contend Together for Healthy Churches

Non-Hawaii Pacific Baptist attendees: $75 per person

Note: We’re asking that if you’re not part of a Hawaii Pacific Baptist Church, you pay $75 per person for the conference since much of the costs of the conference are being covered by our HPBC church’s Cooperative Program giving.
This conference is hosted by the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention and supported through a North American Mission Board grant. Your HPBC church has supported it through your church’s gifts through the Cooperative Program and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions.

Former Senior Pastor of Auburndale Baptist Church in Louisville, KY & Founder and Executive Director of Practical Shepherding, Inc.
Brian is also Senior Fellow for the Mathena Center for Church Revitalization and an Adjunct Professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in pastoral ministry for over twenty-five years, spending seventeen years as Senior Pastor of Auburndale Baptist Church. Brian is the husband of Cara and father of four children, son Samuel and daughters Abby, Isabelle, and Claire.
Mark Hallock
Lead Pastor of Calvary Church in Englewood, CO & President of the Calvary Family of Churches
Mark's great desire is to see the gospel transform lives and neighborhoods through the planting of new congregations, along with the revitalization of declining congregations, throughout the city of Denver and beyond. The Calvary Family of Churches is a group committed to planting and replanting churches for the glory of God. Mark's favorite hobby is hanging out with his wife, Jenna, and their two kids, Zoe and Eli.
