Sunday Highlight: November 9, 2025
In our prayer time today, let’s go to Madagascar — the real island, not the movie.
Look at a map of Africa and you’ll see the island of Madagascar on the lower right side. It’s home to more than 31 million people; most of them are Indonesian rather than African. Most people here are poor.
David and Zoey Lee are two of our missionaries serving there and we want to pray for them today.
The island is open to missionaries, and many people say they are Christian. But David and Zoey say perhaps only 2 percent of the people actually follow Christ.
That’s why the number one prayer request from David and Zoey is for more workers! “We pray every day at 10:02 am for more people to join us,” Zoey said.
They need help with outreach, but especially more workers to disciple and train leaders. David and Zoey are future-focused on reaching and training young adults and university students.
Our church helps support David and Zoey there in Madagascar through our Cooperative Program giving.
Let’s ask God to send more missionaries and volunteers to help in Madagascar — and to bless the ministry of David and Zoey.
