Sunday Highlight: May 10, 2026
Landon and Megan Williams are International Mission Board missionaries serving in Chile who need our prayers. Reaching the people they serve is no easy task. It takes a flight, a ferry, a truck ride, and even traveling on foot to reach the 40 hard-to-access islands off Chile’s coast. But Landon clings to God’s promise in Isaiah 42:4 that the coastlands wait expectantly for His law.
Recently, Landon journeyed with a pastor from Kentucky and a Chilean missionary to explore how to bring the Gospel to these remote places. His vision is not only to reach the islands himself, but also to mobilize churches in Santiago to join the work.
The Williams believe Chilean believers have a vital role in taking the Gospel to the nations. Landon encourages local pastors like Rodrigo to cast vision for reaching these isolated areas and to send workers where Christ is not yet known.
Let’s pray for Rodrigo and other Chilean leaders as they encourage their churches, for God to raise up a pastor to shepherd believers on the islands, and for Landon and Megan as they continue mobilizing the Chilean church. May God bring hope and salvation to the remote coastlands of Chile.
