1. Open House, Waianae Coast Christian Women’s Job Corps, Saturday, February 11, 2-5pm: You are invited to an “Open House” and a “Dedication” for the Waianae Coast Christian Women’s Job Corps new site at the Nanakuli Community Center, Hale Ola Ho’olakolea, 89-137 Nanakuli Avenue, Nanakuli. The site has been renovated and ready for classes to begin on February 14. Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday, with Wednesday dedicated to community involvement. 2. West Oahu Community Church, Launch Day, February 12, 5:00 pm: You are invited to share in the beginning of a new church in Kapolei, Sunday, February 12 at 5:00 pm. The West Oahu Community Church is located at 4236 Bougainville Avenue, Kapolei. David and Annette Hockney have been prayer walking community for months and preparing for this day. 3. Resources for Backyard Bible Club or Facisimile thereof: News via Clyde, “Please take advantage of the spring break in reaching your community for Christ through a Backyard Bible Club (or whatever name you decide). I have a resource that’s called Anytime Anywhere that is ideal for 2-15 children grades 1-6. Feel free to call me and schedule an appointment to view the resources and hands-on training. 4. East Japan Disaster Relief Special Event--Mililani Baptist Church, March 11, 6:00pm: News via Derrick Norris, A special evening is planned for hearing reports from those who have ministered in Japan following the Earthquake, Tsunami and related tragedies. 5. (Correction of contact information) Dr. Ravi Zacharias at UH-Manoa, April 2, 7:00pm: You are invited to bring a friend to the UH Campus Ballroom on April 2, at 7:00 pm. This is a free evangelism rally with internationally known apologist, Dr Ravi Zacharias. The greater Baptist family is invited to join Ravi as he addresses how to understand the Gospel in light of the current climate of New Spirituality. This event is hosted by the Oahu Baptist Network.
